Handy base for 1 night. Found a place called Restoran Ponistra, set near the hotel, ate there a few times.

Choosing for lunch Rutteria Lorenzo, which is situated 400 metres away was a good idea. Museum folkwang was just a short distance away. Ruettenscheid district is a good choice and absolutely worth visiting. The hotel met standards.

lots of restaurants to eat close by, like bistecca grillroom that was only 15 minutes' walk away. ideal place for a city break in essen! location, an easy walk to all attractions. there was a free wi fi.
